Resources for Issues
If you have an issue at your facility, NAVAPD will seek to find relevant information about the problem and offer guidance in addressing it in the most positive way.
NAVAPD is a non-profit professional association, founded with the intent of educating, representing and advancing the goals of its members. This can include education of the membership, employers, external groups of interest or with influence on the membership, and others. NAVAPD is not a Labor Union. Unlike a Union, NAVAPD does not enter into collective bargaining with the VA. NAVAPD works to represent its members’ interests, needs, goals, and viewpoints to the VA and others with interest or influence upon the members and the VHA, including Veterans, Veteran Service Organizations, Health Care Organizations, and Congress. By representing the membership, NAVAPD seeks to advance and improve the care provided to the Nation’s Veterans. Unlike a Union, NAVAPD can and does welcome physicians and dentists who are front-line or management in their roles.
