thirty day day access

Postby jmoon » Mon Oct 26, 2009 8:21 am

I have a question about the 30 day access. What exactly does the communication from the central office say about 30 day access. Is it for new veterans requesting for care, or for every veteran calling into the VA askinng for an appt even if it is their routine six or twelve month follow up visit ? Lately our VA has started double booking porividers with veterans calling in to get an appt for their yearly routine follow up visits to satisfy the 30 day access mandate.

Sounds like they need to hire more providers if they can't meet the guidelines. Are you guys using ACA scheduling?
I knew that when they started using that, the appointment scheduling would be more consistently full with less no shows... add to that something like double booking, and many of these complicated, high need patients, and you've got a recipe for problems.

Thirty day access means company gives you there demo software to users. These software you use only 30 days after that it expired. Microsoft provides antivirus software, photoshop 's all version and any application for demo version.
